Streets of Rage II - Highscore challenge

Beat my 2014 highscore! >w<

Fighter: Axel
Level: Hardest
Starting Lives: 5

Played on the original Sega Megadrive. (Genesis) No emulators.

Got to the round where you get off a boat venturing onto Mr X's island. every enemy is of medium to high tier difficulty from this point onwards making it very very stressful xD

So anyone want to try beat my highscore?

(Please note I started with 5 lives not 3 as I just feel it's more fun that way... although I might try a legit 1 life run soon)
